31 Day Challenge! Day 7: Black and White Nails

Hello! Today's challenge is black and white nails! Is it cheating if I have a dab of color? I sure hope not, I just couldn't so this manicure without a little pink! So in the great words of Bartholomew Simpson, don't have a cow, man! ;)

At one point, my mother was obsessed with cows. Her kitchen would be covered with them, so when I thought about black and white, I couldn't help but think about all of those little figures and cookie jars that I have seen over the years and it seemed like the perfect fit for today. Today's untried is Kleancolor Metallic Black.

Today's design was pretty easy to do. All I did was paint my nails white and stamp on the cow looking pattern, then I painted on the cow face. The cow's face is made up of an oval, some circles and two triangles for ears.

What I used:
  • Base color: OPI Alpine Snow
  • Stamp: BM 222
  • Stamping color: Kleancolor Metallic Black
  • Cow face: pink- Julep Carrie, black- black acrylic paint, white- white acrylic paint
Today was an easier challenge but harder for using an untried. I had to use my new black polish which is metallic,  making my cow a little sparkly. I think it worked considering.

I can't wait to see what everyone else came up with!

See you tomorrow!
PeaceErin
