31 Day Challenge! Day 22: Inspired By A Song

Hello! Today's post was a lot of fun. The objective was to create a nail art design based off of a song. I was kind of forced into my song because Blake was very adamant about me doing Gangnam Style by Psy. Needless to say, he loves this song. I must admit I really dig it. For those of you that may not have heard of this song, it's by the South Korean rapper Psy and it's becoming rapidly popular. Apparently it's now on radios here in the US.

Before I get into explaining by design, the untried polish for today's manicure is Warpaint Beauty A Mile Away. I got this polish from Hot topic and it apparently glows under a black light. I haven't had the chance to try it out, so I have no idea if it really works.

So my design isn't so much about the song, it's more about the video. Psy is a really good dancer and this video is outrageous. I just pulled some things from the video. 

I tried to replicate Psy's caricature on my thumb, then I have his snazzy suit, the one guy's crazy yellow suit, the horses that were randomly in the video and my pinky is the shirt worn by Hyuna (the pretty girl on the subway.)

• Base color: SH White On
• Orly Decades of Dysfunction for the pinky finger
• essence Gleam in Blue
• Warpaint Beauty A Mile Away
• Sally Hansen Coral reef and pacific blue
• Black, yellow, peach and red acrylic paint
• Nail art brushes

Finally, I present to you the video. It is in Korean but it's worth the watch. I really want to learn to dance like this!
