31 Day Challenge! Day 19: Galaxies

Hello there! I first tried my hand at galaxy nails back in May for the Phoenix Comicon. I tried a couple times in fact. You can read the post here. I always have an image in my head when I think of my nail designs and sometimes the image just doesn't transfer well to the nail. This is one of those times. The nails still come out pretty but not how I imagined. The untried polish for today's challenge is essence Meet Me Now!

31 Day Challenge! Day 18: Half Moons

Hello all! Here's the thing I have with half moons...I think they look great on other people, just not on me. I think it might be because my nails are always so short. With that said, I'm actually not hating how mine came out for the challenge. The untried polish for today's manicure is Zoya Jinx.

Let's Do the Time Warp Challenge! Day 3: I remember when...

Hello all! Day 3 of the challenge, I remember when... The objective was to make a nail art design based of an event in history, either well known or personal. I had a really hard time choosing an event, so I asked for help from my lovely best friend, Tara. Being the genius that she is, she came up with the perfect event. This event is a very well known event, one that I wasn't around for but had a very significant impact to the world. My event is in honor of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon!

With Neil Armstrong recently passing away this year, it was such a great idea to do a design that would honor and celebrate his biggest achievement. Thank you Tara for the having such a great idea! In 1969, Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. As soon as he stepped onto the Moon's surface he said, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." He was right. RIP Neil Armstrong! 

This is the picture I used for my inspiration. It was pretty difficult to paint an astronaut, I hope you guys like it!

Wednesday is Day 4 of the challenge: Light's, camera, action!

31 Day Challenge! Day 17: Glitter

Hello all! I wasn't sure what to do for today's challenge. I had just purchased a new glitter, so I wanted to use it but I wasn't sure what to do with it. I don't usually use glitter polish because it is such a pain to remove, so I'm not sure how I could have jazzed it up. Which means, today's mani is pretty boring. I just painted a few layers of the glitter over my favorite nail polish.
