Hello all! Day 6 of the challenge already! Today's objective was to create a nail art design based on a classic game or toy. I knew what I was going to do for today the instant I saw the layout for the challenge! I choose my absolute favorite game, the board game Clue! As for the title of today's challenge, "They sure don't make 'em like they use to," this statement is very true for Clue. They really don't make Clue like the use to. In fact, I absolutely hate the new version of the game.

The box from my favorite edition. I wish I still owned it! |
And here's a close up of the nails without direct lighting. Hopefully you can see the details better.
Here's a picture of the game board I used for inspiration:
I'm going to have to really think about the next challenge. I'm really looking forward to what everyone else came up with today.

ReplyDeleteWOW! That looks very time consuming! Very good work
ReplyDeleteOh it was very time consuming! Thank you so much :)

Thank you! Ya, I think I went a little overboard on the details. haha
DeleteThis is awesome - I like the detail! I loved Clue as a kid and could only play when I went to my cousins house because of course I didn't own the stinkin game...
ReplyDeleteThank you! Aw that's a shame you didn't own it but at least you still got to play every once in a while. I no longer own it and it makes me very sad! Especially because the new version is so crappy.
DeleteI love all of the details in this! I have actually never played CLUE before, I'm deprived!
ReplyDeleteOh no! You are deprived! It's the best board game ever (well I think so) :)
DeleteYou are so right!! Bring back the old Clue. Love your mani so so so many details.
ReplyDeleteYay someone who understands. I hate change, why change something if it's perfect?! Thanks :)
DeleteExcellent idea. And I agree about the new version of the game:-\
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just the worst? I hope they bring back the old one!
DeleteThis is fab, I love your detail but I know the game as cluedo...is cluedo a british thing and clue american? Or did it used to be called Clue? So many questions...x
ReplyDeleteI love questions, so no worries! My understanding is that Cluedo is British and Clue is American. I saw that there is a new Cluedo game that is Sherlock themed. I want it so bad! I'm hoping they come out with a version that's available in America!:)
DeleteYou did an awesome job on this, so many details! I've only ever played Clue once and didn't finish haha.
